SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: Rodney Carrington, a versatile comedian, actor, singer, and writer, is set to grace the Saroyan Theatre on February 29 with his uproarious talent. Recognized as one of the top 10 highest-grossing touring comedians for the past two decades, Carrington's performances consistently sell out worldwide.

As a platinum-recording artist, he has produced eight comedy albums under major record labels and followed up with three albums under his own label, Laughter's Good Records. His latest album, "Get Em Out," released in 2019, soared to #1 on iTunes, while "Here Comes the Truth," from 2017, surged to #3 on the comedy charts and garnered millions of streams on Spotify, accompanied by a successful Netflix special.

Carrington burst onto the scene with his debut major label comedy CD, "Hangin' With Rodney," in 1998, followed by nine more Top 10 comedy albums. His works like "Morning Wood," "Nutsack," "C'mon Laugh You Bastards," and others continue to enjoy radio airplay and maintain positions on national comedy charts. His albums "Hangin' With Rodney" and "Morning Wood" earned gold record certification, while his double CD "Greatest Hits" reached platinum status. Notably, his Christmas album "Make it Christmas" includes the heartfelt tribute to the military, "Camouflage and Christmas Lights."

In addition to his musical achievements, Carrington ventured into writing with his book "Rodney Carrington, Coming Clean," published by Hatchette Books.

His illustrious career extends beyond music and literature, including starring in his own ABC sitcom, "Rodney," and co-writing and co-starring with Toby Keith in the film "Beer for My Horses," which received the Tex Ritter Award from the ACM. His Netflix special "Here Comes The Truth" further solidified his presence in the entertainment industry. Carrington has also made numerous appearances on TV shows, such as hosting the American Country New Year's Eve Live show on FOX and winning the "Supporting Character of the Year" from the CMT Music Video Awards for his role in Trace Adkins' music video "I Got My Game On."

Fresh off the release of his latest single, "Let Me In," in October 2021, Carrington is gearing up for an exciting new tour in 2024!
